Growing up amidst the untamed beauty of California’s central coast, the self-taught Borges has drawn upon her outdoor experiences to create bold graphic collages. Inspired by her grandmother and influenced by relics of the past, she artfully mixes old images, papers, and textiles into elegant geometric combinations that reference everything from goth to psychedelia.
